Psalm 107:5-9

New International Version

⁵ They were hungry^(A) and thirsty,^(B)
    and their lives ebbed away.
⁶ Then they cried out^(C) to the Lord in their trouble,
    and he delivered them from their distress.
⁷ He led them by a straight way^(D)
    to a city^(E) where they could settle.
⁸ Let them give thanks^(F) to the Lord for his unfailing love^(G)
    and his wonderful deeds^(H) for mankind,
⁹ for he satisfies^(I) the thirsty
    and fills the hungry with good things.^(J)
