1 Kings 9:3-5

3 And the Lord said to him, “(A)I have heard your prayer and your plea which you have offered before Me; I have consecrated this house which you have built, (B)by putting My name there forever, and (C)My eyes and My heart will be there [a]always. 4 As for you, (D)if you walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and honesty, acting in accordance with everything that I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and My ordinances, 5 then (E)I will establish the throne of your kingdom over Israel forever, just as I [b]promised to your father David, saying, ‘[c]You shall not be deprived of a man on the throne of Israel.’
