6 And the Lord said, [a]Behold, the people is one, and they all have one language, and this they begin to do, neither can they now be stopped from whatsoever they have imagined to do.
7 Come on, [b]let us go down, and [c]there confound their language, that everyone perceive not another’s speech.
8 So the Lord scattered them from thence upon all the earth, and they left off to build the city.
